Famous Supermodels Turned Movie Stars

Twiggy: Britain's top fashion model of the swinging 60's, had her own TV series in 1975 and also appeared in the movies The Blues Brothers (1980), Club Paradise (1986) and Madame Sousatzka (1988).

Lauren Hutton: American model Lauren Hutton made her film debut in Paper Lion (1968) with Alan Alda. She also appeared with many of the top leading men of the 70's and 80's, like Robert Redford (Little Fauss And Big Halsy - 1970), Burt Reynolds (Gator - 1976), Richard Gere (American Gigolo -1980), and even Jim Carrey  in (Once Bitten -1985).

Paulina Porizkova: Czech beauty Paulina starred in a string of movies including Her Alibi (1989) with Tom Selleck and more recently appeared on the TV soap As The World Turns.. She also worked with actors Johnny Depp, Jerry Lewis and Tilda Swinton and even tried her hand at directing.

Milla Jovovich: Born in the Soviet Union but grew up in the U.S. She appeared in a string of movies that include Return To The Blue Lagoon, Chaplin, Dazed And Confused, The Fifth Element, Zoolander and The Fourth Kind. She is most famous for starring in the Resident Evil films.

Elle MacPherson: Australian supermodel nicknamed "The Body" made  her name with the Sports Illustrated swimsuit editions. Her list of credits include Sirens (1994), The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996), Batman And Robin (1997) and several episodes of TV's Friends.

Rebecca Romijn:  Before Jennifer Lawrence, Mystique was played by Rebecca in the X-Men films. She also guest starred in such TV series as Friends, Just Shoot Me!, Ugly Betty, and Chuck..

Estella Warren: Canadian model and former synchronized swimmer is probably best known for co-starring in Tim Burton's 2001 re-make of Planet Of The Apes with Mark Wahlberg. Other credits include Driven (2001), Kangaroo Jack (2003), and The Cooler (2003).

Brooklyn Decker: Andy Roddick's wife acted with Adam Sandler in Just Go With It (2011) She also appeared in Battleship and What To Expect When You're Expecting (both 2012), and had parts on TV's "Ugly Betty" and "Chuck".
