Celebrity Brothers

Jacksons: Tito, Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon and of coarse Michael. Members of the world famous pop group, the Jackson 5. Later younger brother Randy would join.

Gallaghers: Liam and Noel, members of the British rock group Oasis.As famous for feuding as they are for their music.



Wilsons: Luke and Owen, actors, worked together in the movies "Bottle Rocket" and "The Royal Tenenbaums".

Sheen / Estevez: Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez both started out in the 80's as teen actors. Emilio went on to star in the "Young Guns" and "Mighty Ducks" films as well as try his hand at directing. Charlie went on to greater fame on the TV show "Two And A Half Men".

Gibbs: Barry and twins Maurice and Robin found success in the pop group The Bee Gees during the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Van Halen: Brothers Edward and Alex became superstars in the rock group named after themselves.

Wahlbergs: Donnie was a member of the pop group New Kids On The Block and Mark found fame as singer / rapper Marky Mark. Both brothers went on to greater success in the movies.

Bridges: The sons of actor Lloyd Bridges, Jeff and Beau both made a name for themselves on the silver screen.

Athletes Turned Movie Stars - Part 2

Shaquille O'Neal (Basketball): Won championships with both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat. One of the few athletes to have a movie career while still playing pro sports. Appeared in the movies "Blue Chips", "Kazaam" and "Steel".

Howie Long (Football): Played with the Oakland Raiders, also appeared in the movies "Broken Arrow" and "Firestorm".

Ray Allen (Basketball): Played on both the Seattle Super Sonics and the Boston Celtics. Starred in the Movie "He Got Game".

Merlin Olsen (Football): Was a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Later acted in such TV series as "Little House On The Prairie" and "Father Murphy".

Buster Crabbe (Swimmer): Won bronze and gold at the 1928 and 1932 Olympic games. Became more famous later as Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers on the big screen.

Joe Namath (Football): Colorful quarterback for the New York Jets. Won the Super Bowl in 1969. Later acted in such movies as "C.C. And Company" and "Avalanche Express".

Vinnie Jones (Soccer): British footballer who played for several teams including Chelsea. Made his screen debut in the movie "Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels".

Fred Dreyer (Football): Most famous for starring in the TV series "Hunter".

Athletes Turned Movie Stars

Arnold Schwarzeneggar (Body Builder): Former Mr. Universe (1968), went on to be the biggest athlete turned movie star of all time.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (Wrestler): One of the biggest stars of the WWE, later starred in such films as "Be Cool", "The Game Plan" and "Fast Five".

Johnny Weissmuller (Swimmer): Won five gold medals in the 1924 and 1928 Olympics. Went on to star in a series of "Tarzan" films during the 30's and 40's.

Jim Brown (Football): One of the greatest running backs of all time. Starred in the film "The Dirty Dozen".

Fred Williamson (Football): Pro football player who later made exploitation films during the 70's. Also co-starred in "Starsky and Hutch" with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson.

Alex Karras (Football): Defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions, later became more famous for playing Mongo in the hit film "Blazing Saddles".

Hulk Hogan (Wrestler): Probably the biggest wrestling star of all time. Appeared in "Rocky III" and a string of other films (mostly crap).

Bubba Smith (Football): Played for the Baltimore Colts, Oakland Raiders and Houston Oilers. Found more fame later on acting in the "Police Academy" Films.
