Athletes Turned Movie Stars - Part 2

Shaquille O'Neal (Basketball): Won championships with both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat. One of the few athletes to have a movie career while still playing pro sports. Appeared in the movies "Blue Chips", "Kazaam" and "Steel".

Howie Long (Football): Played with the Oakland Raiders, also appeared in the movies "Broken Arrow" and "Firestorm".

Ray Allen (Basketball): Played on both the Seattle Super Sonics and the Boston Celtics. Starred in the Movie "He Got Game".

Merlin Olsen (Football): Was a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Later acted in such TV series as "Little House On The Prairie" and "Father Murphy".

Buster Crabbe (Swimmer): Won bronze and gold at the 1928 and 1932 Olympic games. Became more famous later as Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers on the big screen.

Joe Namath (Football): Colorful quarterback for the New York Jets. Won the Super Bowl in 1969. Later acted in such movies as "C.C. And Company" and "Avalanche Express".

Vinnie Jones (Soccer): British footballer who played for several teams including Chelsea. Made his screen debut in the movie "Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels".

Fred Dreyer (Football): Most famous for starring in the TV series "Hunter".
